The Ultimate Guide to Caring for Your Organic Lip Balms

Welcome to our lip balm guide!

If this is your first time using a natural lip balm read our usage guide!

Storing your lip balm

Store your lip balms in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Excessive heat can cause the ingredients to melt or degrade, while sunlight can accelerate the oxidation process, reducing the effectiveness of natural ingredients.

Keep your lip balms away from moisture or humidity. Moisture can lead to the growth of mold or bacteria in the product, compromising its safety and quality.

Don't leave your lip balm in places like your car, as the heat inside can cause it to melt. If your lip balm does melt, you can try refrigerating it to solidify it again, but its texture may be altered.

Using your lip balm

Before using your lip balm, ensure your lips are clean to prevent transferring any bacteria or dirt into the product. Also, avoid sharing lip balms to prevent the spread of germs.

If you're using your fingers to apply the lip balm, make sure they are clean. Alternatively, use a clean lip brush or spatula to scoop out the product to avoid contaminating the rest of the balm.

Natural lip balms may not have the long-lasting power of synthetic ones, so reapply as needed throughout the day to keep your lips moisturized and protected.
