Welcome to your body scrub care and usage guide!
If you have never used one of our body scrubs you are in the right place!
How often should I use my body scrub?
How often you use the sugar scrub depends on your skin type and personal preference. Generally, using it 2-3 times a week is sufficient for most people. However, if you have sensitive skin, you may want to use it less frequently to avoid irritation.
How do I apply my scrub?
Apply the sugar scrub to damp already cleaned skin in gentle, circular motions, focusing on areas prone to dryness or roughness, such as elbows, knees, and heels. Avoid using the scrub on broken or irritated skin. Then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Use your scrub after you have washed your body so that all of the wonderful oils embedded in the scrub don't get washed away! You can also use lotion once you are done bathing to lock in the oils.
Where do I store it?
Store your sugar scrubs in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Excessive heat and humidity can cause the ingredients to degrade and reduce the shelf life of the scrub.
Make sure the container you use for storing the sugar scrub is clean and dry before transferring the product into it. Airtight containers are preferable to prevent the scrub from drying out or becoming contaminated.
Keep water out of the sugar scrub container. Water introduces the risk of bacterial growth and can cause the sugar scrub to spoil more quickly. Instead, scoop out the desired amount of scrub with dry hands or a clean utensil to prevent introducing moisture into the container.
What to do before use.
Mix Before Use: Since natural ingredients may settle over time, it's a good practice to give your sugar scrub a gentle stir or shake before each use to ensure an even distribution of ingredients.
Use Clean Hands: Before using the sugar scrub, wash your hands thoroughly to remove any dirt or bacteria. This helps maintain the cleanliness of the product and prevents contamination.
Patch Test: Perform a patch test on a small area of your skin before using the sugar scrub all over your body, especially if you have sensitive skin or are trying a new product for the first time. This helps to ensure you don't have any adverse reactions to the ingredients.
Discontinue Use if Irritation Occurs: If you experience any redness, itching, or irritation after using the sugar scrub, discontinue use immediately and rinse the affected area with water. Consult a dermatologist if the symptoms persist.
